19 Feb 2019 - New Delhi - Toshiba - a global leader in manufacturing electrical system
for water supply and sewerage facilities for over 40 years, today announced the name
change of its 100% Indian subsidiary - UEM India Private Limited (UEM) to Toshiba Water
Solutions Private Limited. Toshiba acquired 100 percent stake in UEM in March 2018.
Current shareholding in UEM is shared between Toshiba Corporation (56.11%) and Toshiba
Infrastructure Systems & Solutions Corporation (43.89 %). The new name is effective from
February 12, 2019 and will be implemented across the company's product and services.

countries. With offices in five countries, UEM provides complete, single-source services
from design and engineering, to construction and installation of bespoke water, wastewater
and municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities across the world. Now with the

Toshiba Water Solutions Private Limited will continue to have its corporate office in
Gurugram, India and specialize in providing turn-key services in water and wastewater
management, staying committed to the mission of Clean India - FOR THE NEXT INDIA.
Toshiba Water Solutions will provide complete, one-stop solution from design and
engineering to construction, installation, operation and maintenance of water and
wastewater treatment facilities. Toshiba Water Solutions will offer multiple modern
technologies like ZLD (Zero liquid Discharge) using HEROTM (High Efficiency Reverse
Osmosis), Anaerobic Biological Treatment (ABT), Activated Sludge Process (ASP), Sequential
Batch Reactor (SBR), Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR), etc.
